If I stop the cod liver oil, any suggestion on the possible replacement? You could try Blue Ice cod liver oil from Green Pastures online. It's actually fermented, too, which is supposed to make it even more beneficial. They have a few flavors, just be sure to get the non-flavored one which is SCD legal. Do you find it makes a difference if you are having it on an empty stomach or not - as recommended? Also - for anyone who has used both - do you feel having the fish oil/butter combo really makesa difference or not? Hi, I’m and a new member

to this group. My daughter is 1 month on SCD. She has been taking cod

liver oil for the last three years. I just discovered that it contains

vitamin E extracted from soya oil which is included in the illegal

list.

It is all but impossible to find Vitamin E that is not from soy

oil.

Vitamin E, and soy lecithin are SCD-legal, per what Elaine told me. (In

fact, when I started SCD, soy oil was legal, but I never tried it because

I am anaphylactic to soy protein. I do not react to high quality vitamin

E or soy lecithin.
