Guest guest
I spent a good chunk of the morning running errands with my husband. We were running behind so we stopped at Taco Time. I have no idea what I can eat there, so I had Mitch get me a grilled chicken blt burrito. I got some extra guacamole and sour cream so I was sure that I could get it down. I only ate the inside of the burrito. I cannot eat the tortilla. It was such a nice treat for me. I don't think that I could do this on a regular basis, but it sure was a nice change of pace for me! Have a great Friday! Becca AGB 9/16/02 496/375.5/??? -120.
Guest guest
Oh Becca, HOW can you mention Taco Time???!!! We moved to CA and there are NONE here. It is a crime. It is prolly good because both my husband and I love Taco Time. Much, much better than Taco Bell, etc. I don't even go to other ones. Whenever we go to Oregon or Washington, we go for a visit. Glad to hear you enjoyed your lunch. Thanks, Diane LAP RNY 9/99 We were > running behind so we stopped at Taco Time. > -120.
Guest guest
Taco Burger. I cut it like a pie, 4 wedges & eat them from the point. Then I get ALL the goodies. The crisp burritos are excellent for a finicky pouch, too Thanks, Vitalady, Inc. Guest guest
I KNOW! That was my FIRST stop off the fwy when I'd come back here (from CA) to visit my parents! FIRST Taco Time, then parents. Priorities. It was one of my first jobs. Pre-rolling the burritos, then I graduated to a regular person. LOL! But we steamed the buns for taco burgers in those days. Perfection. Then I moved to Bremerton and the one that was there closed. UGH! Stranded again. Visited my parents in Tacoma more often, again. LOL! Now I live here. Have to drive a few miles in 4 directions and can get my fix, but only ONE (the first one in WA) still steams the buns. The others somehow petrify them. Thanks, Vitalady, Inc. What a cruel thing to do to a Florida girl where there isn't a Taca Time to be found - at least in my area of the state! And then she took me to this great - really great - little Japanese (?) restaurant and we got these box thing ... can't remember the name but it was wonderful. And of course, you guessed it...nothing like that around where I live. I can't wait to get back out there and have some more!! Guest guest
Yes, Japanese. Bento box. It had teriyaki chicken, 4 CA rolls, salad with peanut dressing, some veggies tempura. Tempura dip & steamed rice on the side. They always bring me chopsticks, not to use, but the poke the crab out of my CA rolls. LOL! It's actually a lil quickie place in a strip mall, plastic tables, but she treats us like the $22/meal place does! OK, no finger towels. Thanks, Vitalady, Inc.
