Guest guest
Hi Quasimodo, It's me Rudolph..(haha) Heck we have to have some laughs to deal with what we are going through. I think I will be okay as far as the hospital bill goes because my insurance should cover most of that. My biggest concern is my OS fee because he is an out of network provider with BCBS. So I do know his total bill was just under $12,000. Care First will pick up a portion of that, fingers crossed, but I am sure I will have to pay nearly half. I paid his bill with Care Credit which is a credit card for medical. So that bill will be rolling in soon which will be about $300.00 a month. I will be able to claim some of this on my health care account and get it back, so that will help for awhile. I think I have about $2,000 remaining in my health care account. I am trying so hard not to worry about this right now. I am sure I will hear all kinds of jokes on Tuesday. My hope though is to go into a quiet office and everyone just leaves me alone for the day...Okay, wishful thinking! Maybe my looks will scare them to death and they will run..(haha) I never could get used to contacts...I am considering Lasik next year, but I think maybe I need a year off from surgeries even though that one is minor compared to jaw surgery. I need to focus first on this recovery, then getting through the remainder of the ortho treatment, and getting through those 8 crowns. So, I guess the lasik will have to wait until I am about 50..(haha) Hey, I will be a good looking grandma at least with no glasses and straight teeth! Have a great night, -Caboose...oops and Rudolph > > > > Thanks my fav nurse ! > > > > > > > > The rash is only in the area of my nose and cheeks which is > where > > > the > > > > swelling still is.
