Now why didn't I think of that? I get my son beans because they are

the only thing safe at 2 of the places we eat out at regularly. I

bring food for him but it is easier on him if he has at least 1 item

that we are eating too.

Hi , EverybodyOne of the more or less humorous aspects ofour digestive folk wisdom, is the causal relationshipbetween eating beans and the production of intestinalgas.What I've noticed, since beginning the SCD is that, now thateat only legal legumes, as my primary carbohydrate source,I have not had any intestinal gas, despite the fact that I have been eating what, in the past, would have been an equivalentquantity of beans.Is this an indication of reduction of dysbiosis; or, is it a result ofeating beans, the 'legality' of which is the result of chemical factors that, when metabolized, do not produce gas?Thanks for any help.Bob in Tucson\\\\

Also your gut is more healed/completely healed, soyou have less problems digesting that kind of food because it is in better shapeand your digestion is more successful. Also, less dysbiosis.Mara
