My family could understand me with tight bands, but most other people

could not. So my kids or husband would go to the doctor with me to

interpret. Now, with the looser bands, I can talk betlter. I have a

splint in, so it sometimes sounds garbled.

Patty,

Were people able to understand what you said before the OS cut your

bands.

I am 2 days behind you post-op and will see my OS friday and have my

X-Ray done tomorrow. But until now noone has been able to understand

what I say. So I user exaggerated gestures and my notpad.

I'm wondering am I the only one who cannot talk with the bands?
