Guest guest
Where do you get chromagen forte? Is it by prescription only or is it over the counter? Approximately what is the cost. Before WLS, I took BRAND NAME Prozac and it worked great. I never had a problem and felt 10000% better than I ever did and never thought about suicide which was a problem for me. After surgery, I tried Prozac, Fluoxetine (the generic Prozac) and Lexapro tablets. I might as well have been eating a banana for all the good any of them did. My psycho-pharmacologist (fancy name for a psychiatrist that specializes in medicine management for depression) checked for me and Lexapro comes in liquid so I am moving on to that next because she thinks I have absorption problems related to WLS. I just wanted to throw this out there because it might help some of you. I also take Rispardol as an SSRI booster and feel pretty damn good lately, almost normal. Rispardol is actually an anti-psychotic but they combine it with SSRIs to boost the SSRIs effectiveness. I am not and never have been psychotic in any way, just depressed. However, the Rispardol has been INCREDIBLE and it is a tiny tiny pill that dissolves on your tongue in less than 3 seconds so I know I am getting it in my system. Per my recent medical reading, generics only have to have an 80% effacacy compared to the brand name and I think that is one reason I did so poorly on the Fluoxetine. There has been a lot of medical discussion that although helpful, generic anti-depressants don't work for a lot of people like the brand names do. fyi...
