Guest guest
Hi Suzy, That is why I am a low carb eater. It is the only way I can keep my hunger and cravings down. If I ever eat anything high carb like bread, potatoes, cakes, chips of any kind, and cookies, etc., anything with sugar and flour basically I lose control, majorly. It gets real hard for me to stop. So I ignore what we call " goodies " (in other words our drug) and I can stay on top of the weight battle. I also have to deal with the 2 year old in me at times when I get mad at life thinking it is not fair and why I should suffer. Then say hell with it I am going to treat myself. Well I had to stop thinking of not eating what I crave is suffering. There are a lot of things in life that can make you feel that you are not suffering that doesn't evolve around food. That pleasure seeking high will have to be replaced with endorphins. I find that in exercise. There is no better replacement for it. Other than sex. Ha ha. Or sky jumping (no thanks). Thrill seeking releases the same endorphins but that is not for me. Mathew Seattle, WA 05/31/02 Open VBG - Dr. Weber
