Guest guest
Hi , Good to hear from you! Thanks for the kind words! I am sorry to say that I did not read your post to me, on board two. I had turned off my emails because I wasn't able to get to them as much as I wanted to because I was in the midst of planning a reunion for our group of friends that are now spread out all over Louisiana (mostly in Baton Rouge) and the country. We had a very large crawfish boil. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 300lbs. I think after all was said and done, there were about 9lbs left over. I hadn't seen some of my friends in over 25 years. Four people even flew in from Washington state. We had great time on a beautiful spring Saturday in April. I must say I like crawfish, but my favorite is fried shrimp and I will tell you, I had more than my fair share during Lent! Good to hear that your surgery is right around the corner. Sounds like you're excited. I know you'll be happy to get to the other side! Have you started getting the things that you will need pre and post- surgery? I highly recommend those Zip-N-Squeeze bags! Are you having surgery on both jaws and will you be wired after? When do you get your surgical wires and hooks? There is just so much to do, you won't have time to be anxious . . . LOL! All will be fine and you will soon be joining the rest of us " alumni " ! Best wishes and good luck to you . God bless and God speed!
