80s!! So i know your area well.....used to shop at costco there alot!

Hi Judie!

Thank you! Yes, the limo was a lovely, comfortable ride! I

definitely recommend it if you can find a good price.

Hi Judie!

I got the limo in Delano. I got Ed's name from Dee Tinkle. He was

so nice about going so far for my mom and me!

You almost bought a house here? Wow! And a pool is essential in

this town! It gets so hot in summer! Next summer I'll actually be

slim enough to feel comfortable using our pool! (It's a community

pool, but it's better than nothing!)

Hugs!

Greetings dear friends and fellow wanders along this bumpy road to victory!

Saw Dr on Tuesday and my abdomen wounds continue healing well - no

sign of infection. For some unknown reason I have developed several cists in

the fatty tissue of my upper arms. They are about the size of a boiled egg.

Anyway, he cut two open, drained them and then packed them. It may simply be

some infection moving under the skin trying to find a way out of me. Once

he lanced them both seem to be doing fine.

Anyone know a place in the Houston area to get a two-bedroom house or large

apartment at a good rental rate? If so, please send me private email to

" cineman at hyker dot net. "

That is about it for tonight. By the way, I have an extra wheelchair that

will hold a patient up to 600 pounds that I will soon be selling. I also

have a walker that is for a person up to 7' tall and weighing up to 750

pounds that I will be selling. Anyone in need of such, make me an offer.

Both are in good shape. Sell or trade!

Love you guys.

After all of the information and help you all have given me, I thought

I'd give you all an update.

I visited the Orthodontist I was referred to by my dentist on Monday,

June 27. She diagnosed an open bite, under bite and cross bite. I

was then referred to a Periodontist to check the health of my gums on

Tuesday, June 28. Except for a few minor concerns about gum health,

there wasn't anything that would stop me from going ahead with the

process.

I was also referred to an Oral surgeon at my Orthodontist visit. I

was asked to come back to the Orthodontist office on Wednesday, June

29 to have x-rays and panoramic x-rays done so that I would have them

available for the Oral Surgeon. Plus, due to a cancellation, my next

Orthodontist appointment was moved to Thursday, June 30; 3 weeks

sooner than what I was orginally scheduled for.

I spent about 50 minutes at the Oral Surgeon's office on Thursday,

June 30. He poked, prodded, measured and checked everything on me.

After all of this, including an ECG, blood pressure test and pulse

taken, he told me everything that would need to be done. To my

surprise, after all of these years, he informed me that it was my

upper jaw that was the problem and not my lower jaw. The upper jaw

grew vertically in rear (posterior) and not outwards. He said I will

need the back of my jaw raised, the front of it lowered and the whole

thing moved outwards. He did not rule out possibly moving my lower

jaw back.

Then he informed me that I will need to have surgery to remove my four

healthy wisdom teeth in the fall and an in-office procedure in the

near future to remove two upper bicuspids. I am not looking forward to

any of that.

Later on that morning, I had another appointment at my Ortho's office

to get molds done, photos and a bite impression. Usually, it takes up

to 6 weeks for the molds to return. But, my Orthodonist requested

that they be back to her by this Thursday, July 7 at the latest. I'm

not real sure why she wants them back so quickly. I was then scheduled

for an hour long consultation and explanation of what she wants to do

for Tuesday, July 12.

At this point, if all that was required was the surgery, I'd be all

for it. But, the two years of braces seems like an eternity and not

something I really want to do. I sincerely hope doing all of this

will be the right thing to do and worth while.

Cary
