Guest guest
I live in a pretty small city, only 2 or 3 doctors do WLS. A friend of mine called me and told me of a co-worker that just has WLS 5 weeks ago. She developed a stricture, which they saw by the results of an upper GI - instead of doing a scope with dilation. Her surgeon (who isn't my surgeon) had her come in and drink some pop (carbonation) to stretch the opening. I thought that was the weirdest thing I've ever heard. I've had 6 scopes and 5 dilations, I don't think I'd try the pop thing. Would love to hear what you all think of this.
