Ask the butthole, if he's ever heard of the MAYO CLINIC, which is where alot of the information is recieved from, if he hasn't heard of the mayo clinic, then ask him about Hopkins! I wasted 5 years of total hell because I didn't want to believe that my physician at Vanderbilt a teaching hospital wasn't up to date on the current treatment. I was STUPID!! I left about 4 years ago and I found a group of doctors that actually listened to me and what was going on with me and my body... Thank God, I would still be so sick I couldn't get out of bed most days... having myoclonic tremors and jerks so bad I couldn't keep food in a spoon to feed myself.. I am now for the first time in 9 years in remission.. and this is the place (remission) that I would like to see all of us in..

DO NO STOP THE PRED BY YOURSELF!!!!! DO NOT!!! THAT HAS TO BE TAPERED AND ONLY A PHYSICIAN NEEDS TO DIRECT YOU HOW!!!!!

Honey you'll be sicker than you've ever been if you taper that and with that high a dose, it can cause you're blood pressure to skyrocket.. and can even cause stroke or death...

I've been where you are, with the obnoxious physician, and I'll tell ya there are some site that are worth staying away from.. but this isn't one of them..

Hi All,Thanks for all of your support and help. I saw my doctor today and seems like the 100 pred is starting to get to me (remember I have been taking it for almost 1 month)...I have to have a fast blood test tomorrow as my neck and face have started to swell up and my blood sugar non-fasting was 171. He is irritated with me as I brought some of your ides, messages or medical journal information to him. He told me anyone could be writing those and really didn't want to hear about any of it. And when I mentioned going to the NS convention sponsored by the Sarcoidosis Research Center in November - he told me most of those are money makers no real science just people out to get my money. He said now with the internet patients are getting all kinds of information - not necessary sound information. Also, can anxiety cause my tongue to go numb? That is what he told me that I am being anxious over everything and the numbness is caused by anxiety? I am going bonkers here seriously!!!!!!!!!!
