Guest guest
Someone requested a weight loss thread (I think Ruth ;-)) and I will admit I'm at least ten or more pounds over the ideal weight. I'm not complaining since I started about about starved--literally. I bought frozen vegetables and fruit yesterday. Tried to go with low carb--green veggies right? So is it ok to add homemade mayonnaise on them for weight loss? It's just two egg yolks, lemon and spices with the 1c. oil. Smoothies. Frozen fruit, fruit juice and ice. The honey just clumps up so I don't see a reason to use it. If I eat light (t the hardest part) and make a huge batch of smoothies at night, I can drink or spoon one of those the rest of the night. Is this a good thing? As for sweets, meringues are good but it's pretty humid here so hard to make (or user error maybe). I tried lemon curd again recently and it's just too sweet. Do I need to eliminate cheese altogether? Cut down on yogurt and dccc I'm sure. No or very little honey? This doesn't relate to weight loss but I bought frozen green beans. Haven't had luck with them before and couldn't find French cut. Do I need to split them myself or cook them really really soft so I don't spaz to death? Use olive or very light olive oil instead of butter or is it the same difference---like to top it off. I use the Hurricane Dressing a lot now for flavor since it's made and it goes on practically anything. Any/all ideas appreciated. I don't do nut butters very much at all but some do so sweet ideas should probably be included. Thanks, Debbie 41 cd
