Judy, I'm sorry to hear all that's going on with you. Sending some

more hugs. Don't worry about complaining, we all need to vent at

times.

You might need tubes, even as adults sometimes we need the fluid

drained. I would see either your regular doctor again or the ENT.

> I have another problem going on too, and I hate to even write

about it because I've already complained enough. My bite is

changing, and it's for the worse! I'm not sure if it's due to the

surgery itself, the jaw wiring, or the elastic bands. I'm thinking

it's the bands.

Regarding the bite, the teeth do shift after surgery. I noticed

tonight that my upper teeth are getting more space between them. It

may be the rubber band location which was changed by OD. They took

the power chains (large rubber band type that go across the teeth)

before my surgery. So now I have a question about that. I would

definitely call the surgeon and see what he has to say. I would

also tell him about the infection if he doesn't already know about

it.

I'm still trying to get use to my new jaw location. It seems odd as

the numbness starts easing off a bit.

It sounds like the swelling might be a lymph node, which might mean

the infection hasn't been completely cured. I'd definitely go back

to the doctor. I'd let your surgeon know about the infection and

that your other doctor put you on antibiotics. He might want to see

you. If not then I'd probably go see the ENT.

Let us know how you're doing. You've had such a rough time. You're

in my thoughts and prayers.

Hugs again, Shirley
