Hi all!

Allow me to introduce myself... I am Jayar, 33, and from California.

I had surgery on 5/26, and knew virtually nothing that you all are

talking about. Today is my first day on my own, and I overdid it, but

I am hanging in there. I had what is called " a segmental Le Fort

I maxillary osteotamy and bilateral sagittal split mandibular

osteotomies with rigid fixation. " I know that they cut my upper jaw

in 3 places, widened it, cut the lower in two places, shifted it

forward, and fixed my chin. I had some really bad days, but today I

feel pretty good, and have been eating (sloppy) but fine. I wish that

I could figure out how to get my nasal passages to stop burning! And

I would kill for a hamburger.

Can I ask whatever?
