I'm BLUE!!!!

well, I'm " Mediterranean Blue " to be exact! I had my second change

of wire today - something really heavy duty of the " frozen " variety.

My top teeth have moved so incredibly fast, that at this rate things

might even be in place by the end of the summer rather than the

December we are shooting for! I had to place a call to my OS to

inform him that we are ahead of HIS schedule (he was anticipating

spring break of next year), and I have yet to hear from the

insurance.

My tech let me brush and floss once she removed my old wire, steel

and power threads... oooohhhh what a feeling! I don't even have to

struggle to get the floss in between my teeth! Unfortunately, there

was a fair amount of build-up under some of the power threads, but

the tech was kind enough to scale those for me. I have no idea how

to keep that from happening again, though... I brush and floss

immediately after every meal, as well as in the am and pm, and even

water-pick at least once a day. *sigh* There is a prophylactic waxy

paste we put on dogs' teeth to keep the tartar from building up... my

Dentistry prof even uses it on his own teeth with great success... I

wonder if my OD would let me use that! LOL

Well, I am hereby banned from the computer until after next

Thursday... I can't believe how many hours I have spent reading e-

mails from this group rather than studying!! Finals are next week,

and for better or worse, I'll be done with this quarter and on to

Third Year.

For M (the newest of the " newbies " ) WELCOME!!! I'll look forward to

hearing more from you! As for now... age is completely irrelevant!
