Guest guest
Bethany, Sounds like your going good, but I think you need to get more calories and definitely more protein in. That could also be a cause of the hair loss. I've been told repeatedly that I need to get in 1,000 to 1,200 calories a day and 50-60 grams of protein in a day to remain healthy. If I don't I will go into starvation mode and that isn't good. To date I don't think I've gotten close to 1,000 calories but I do try my darndest to get in my protein in one form or another. It is hard I know and I struggle but I just keep thinking of the end results and I manage to get through. Good luck and keep us posted. Guest guest
Hey Bethany, et al - I used to use fitday.com now just use the calorieking.com software on my Palm, say thing though for the most part. I tend to be close to 1000 calories a day (not counting exercise), if not more and around 60g protein, I tend to aim for 30/60/90 (fat/pro/carb), but the carbs tend to all be complex and I rarely hit that high, same with fat. At first you looked low Bethany, but in thinking about it considering it's just breakfast and lunch you're not doing too bad, you may want to try and add a snack around 10:30 and another small one around 3pm that's protein-based (ie: sliced turkey roll, string cheese, low cal/fat/carb protein shake) that could help boost your protein for the day. For the most part you look like you're doing well. Lap RNY April 9, 2004 348/273/140 (begin/current/goal) www.carrieburns.net > I just went to fitday.com for the first time.
