Guest guest Posted July 18, 2010 Report Share Posted July 18, 2010 I can easily find grass fed beef and free range chickens where I live but I am feeding a family of 6 and just cannot afford it. How crucial is it for someone on SCD to have this over store bought? The meat I do buy is fresh from a butcher, selected from behind glass vs. in the meat section bundled in styrofoam and plastic. My son eats tons of eggs but they are from free range chickens are actually cheaper than the grocery store eggs so that is not a problem.
