will be ready for surgery this fall... When should I see my OS?

Hi all,

I've been a member for a few years (active reader, passive poster) but

kind of scared with the idea of having a surgery. I never have any

surgery in my life and this will be my first. Anyhow, after reading

tons of messages, I decided to start with the whole process last year.

I've been in braces for about 10 months now.

The thing is my OD told me last week that I'd be ready for surgery

this Fall. I'm wondering when I should schedule an appointment with my

OS. The last time I saw him was more than a year ago for initial

consultation before I got braces.
