Frozen Yogurt & Coconut Ice Cream

Does anyone know if you get any of the beneficial bacteria from frozen yogurt

when you digest it? I assume there must be some, as you can keep the yogurt

starter in the freezer. I dripped the yogurt before putting in the ice cream

maker with homemade cherry syrup (cooked cherries & honey) and toasted pecans

and it was awesome.

Also, I made coconut ice cream for the first time yesterday, and it was pretty

icy vs. creamy. Any good recipes out there for coconut ice cream? Should I be

trying to find a " coconut cream " in the store instead? Or is there a way to

rehydrate dried coconut and make into a cream for ice cream?
