Nikki,

I am exactly in the same boat as you!

I should re-introduce myself first. I am Kim from IL. I had my

surgery 2/26/01 with Dr. Wittgrove at Alvarado in CA. I started at

5'3 " 250# and am now 130#. I was at 125#, but have gained 5#

recently and am trying desperately to get it off and keep my weight

under control.

I start every morning with my ProComplex shake and Vista Vitamins and

for lunch I usually have leftovers from the previous nights dinner or

a Lean Cuisine (a higher protein one). I have another ProComplex

shake mid afternoon to stop myself from snacking. But most days, it

doesn't help. I just start grazing and can't seem to stop. Dinner is

usually chicken and vegetables and I have another ProComplex shake

between dinner and bedtime along with my second package of Vista's.

I have to admit that I am NOT hungry. I am eating just to eat. I

can't believe that these old habits have started creeping back in

after so much time has passed. I am starting to panic.

I noticed asked about your protein intake and I'm wondering

myself if three shakes a day isn't enough for me? I don't know. I

do the water, the exercise and the vitamins religiously. That's

never been a problem for me. It's the darned snacking!

I just wanted to let you know that you are NOT alone and I am hoping

that some of you further out may have some advice? Any advice would

be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much!

Kim
