Guest guest
Cranial Technologies does a free consult. I recommened calling them and they can tell you if a script will be needed. A lot of times Crainal will contact your doctor and get the script for you. I hope this helps. > > Hi - I'm new to this board and so glad to find it. My daughter is 5 months old and has clear brachy-type plagio. Flat head, bulging temples, etc. We've tried respositioning and are ready for the helmet. Do I really need to see a specialist, or can I have the pediatrician write a script for the helmet? Or can I just go straight to the Cranial Tech place? Their website didn't say anything about needing a script. I doubt my insurance will kick in so I'm trying to figure out the most expedient route. > > Or should I get the script just in case? > > Thanks! >
Guest guest
You will need a script for sure (no matter if you went to CT or another orth). It doesn't matter if the ped writes it or a specialist, so if your ped is willing, I would just get it from them. Good luck!
