Guest guest
Just wanted to drop you a few lines in response to your post about your visit with Dr. . I'm glad it went well and that he was able to be compassionate about your bouts of depression. It always helps to know that your doctor appreciates and sympathises with the trials and tribulations we have to go throgh in this process. I know that every time I see Dr. Sachs I just want to hug him for making me feel better and so reassured. So let me get this straight, you're getting the surgical wires removed first with that gas and numbing procedure or am I confused and that is actually the unwiring and desplinting procedure all in one? I am hoping to get my splint off by the 29th too as I fly out to Italy on the 30th to be with my fiance again. I have decided to make the move back to Italy permanent sooner than expected because I just can't afford to stay in NYC any longer and I miss Alessandro desperately. I also just found out my best friend in the whole world is pregnant with her first baby and since she and I have always shared every experience together I can't seem myself missing out on this. I actually cried when she told me because it broke my heart not to be there in person with her. I know it's silly and I'm sure I'm just overly emotional lately with the surgery and all but as Dorothy used to say, there is no place like home. Well I hope you are feeling a little better these days knowing that you are only 12 days until your unwiring and yummy soft food again! Remember when you were just 5 days post-op? You've come a long way! Sara
