Guest guest
Hello. I had lap roux y last Wednesday and I am finally home today. I had a drain the whole time and it was finally taken out today. the wound is so sensitive and irritated now. Plus, I may have pulled an abdominal muscle on my right side! My temp is 100 and the gas/ hetartburn in my left shoulder/chest is painful and nonstop. The surgeon wasnt too concerned. Do many people have these problems in the beginning? I even take the gas chewables but they don help; especially when I lay down. Could the gasses from the lap still be in me?
Guest guest
Hi. I posted a message on Aug.4th (that was the day I came home from having the Lap Roux-Y. I was so excited to read the responses and all of a sudden my monitor switched off and wouldnt go on!!! Argh! Anyway, I have a new monitor and no fever anymore. Thankfully, the awful chest and shoulder pain is gone:) I just can't seem to get rid of this sharp pain near my right ovary. Like I said, I could've pulled a muscle...who knows. I will see a physician in another week. I have lost 23 pounds since July 28th and that makes me very happy!
