Cocoa butter cupcakes recipe- Mara?

I was just gonna make this cocoa butter cake recipe, but the

measurements for cocoa butter and almond flour are in oz. Is this

weight oz, or going by the oz on the side of your measuring cup? (I

guess that would be fluid oz?) Anyways, I found an online converter

that says 6 oz of ground almonds is 2 cups, but if I went by 8 oz = 1

cup then it would need less than one cup of almonds. Sorry if this is

stupid, I just don't want to mess up!
