Guest guest
Hello Everyone, I wanted to share what I have been up too. Bryon and I just got back from our honeymoon on the Royal Caribbean Voyager of the Seas. We were supposed to go last year after the wedding, but as most of you know I broke my ankle and had to wear a cast for six months. First let me say I would never have been able to make this trip without my gastric bypass surgery. Day one we departed out of Miami on October 26 to set out to sea. We did a lot of walking that night and ended up in a bar called the vault, it was a blast. I didn't think I could dance anymore and let me tell you I can and still get all the way down to the ground, something I haven't done in my life. We party till 4 am; the people on board all were so nice we had a blast. Day two at sea the ship was a little rocky. We took the day checking out the ship to see all that is to be done; we never did see the whole ship boy is it big. Day Three first port Labadee, I was sea sick and didn't go but Bryon went for a little while and I rested. Day four port Ocho Rios Jamaica. Our shore excursion was Ocho Rios Highlights & Dunn's River Falls; this was an exhilarating climb to the top of this spectacular 600 foot waterfall. I did it, I don't know how but I did and it wasn't easy. Everyone made a chain and help each other up and which rocks to walk on so you wouldn't fall. Before surgery I would have never been able to do this. Then we did some sight seeing and shopping. Next it was time to board the ship the elevators would be packed. So we took the stairs check this out I was climbing 11 to 14 floors everyday many times a day, wow never in my old life could I do that. We had dinner then went to a wonderful show. Ice Jammin " Ice Show " wow I couldn't believe my eyes, we couldn't take pictures during the show that was too bad. I am so happy we didn't miss this one. Then we went to another show The Love and Marriage Game Show the ship director sure knows how to entertain his guest. To follow was Dancing Under the Stars with the calypso steel band it was so romantic out, and a wonderful midnight buffet pool side. There were all types of food and plenty of protein to eat. Next we lay together in a lounge chair out on the pool deck and watch the stars and moon it was a beautiful night. Then off to bed. Day Five Town, Grand Cayman our shore excursion was Stingrays City Swim and Snorkel. I have never snorkel before and let me tell you it was so much fun to snorkel and be able to touch the Stingray's one was even pregnant. Then off to snorkel by the reef. When we got back on the ship we ate then went to our main dinner at 8:45, then we went to the Broadway's Rhythm and Rhyme play, again another great show. We had plans to go to the late night comedy show at 12:15; we both were so tired we went to bed. Day six Cozumel Mexico Happy Halloween. Our shore excursion got messed up somehow, but we made the best of it. We rented a jeep for the day and tour the whole Island and we both know we had a better time doing this. When we got back we had an early Asian dinner it was really good. I was so tired out from the heat and you can see in my picture I sure look sick with that big plate of food in front of me. Then we went to our Main Dinner it was lobster night, Bryon ate five lobsters nothing else but lobster and I had one lobster. Then off to get dressed up for the Halloween Monster Mash, this was really cool. Then we went to the Vault and I dance the night away. The ship had left port and was on its way back to Miami and we were rocking so hard. When we were walking outside on the deck the wind almost knock me over. I later heard there was a storm out, no wonder! When we got back to our cabin Bryon enter the cabin first and screamed, the stateroom attendant made out of towels a hanging monkey. One night he made a dog on the bed for us. The bar closed at three but there were just a few of us left and they keep it open till five am. Day Seven oh my god bad day ship is really moving and I couldn't balance myself out. This was a real sick day and I wanted to play all day because it was our last day. We had a wonderful time! The food was out of this world. I have to say I tasted a lot of different foods and stuck to mostly protein but at dinner I did try the desserts and it was like heaven. If anyone would like to see the photo album send me your email address and I will send you a letter from snapfish.com for your viewing. Sicoli 325/146 denisesi@...
