Iron intolerance issues?

I know I'm probably beating a dead horse here, but I am wondering on

something. So please.. Humor me.

I know that most of the multivitamins I have found, with the

exception of one, causes a multitude of problems.... nausea,

vomitting, liver and/or bloody taste in my mouth. The only one I have

found to not have Iron in it is an Infant drop.

I've been this way since my surgery back in August of last year. I

have not been faithful with taking my vitamins (I know... slam me for

it) because many of the multivitamins have Iron in them. I have

recently started to take the Infant drops, and I'm doing ok on them.

(With one exception, and that was when someone picked up the wrong

one when I sent them out to the store for them. They picked me up the

one with Iron in it.)

So my question is, is it possible to become Iron intolerant after the

RNY? I do remember up until I was 5 days before my surgery that I

would take a multivitamin with extra Iron beause my iron level was

low, and an extra iron supplement as well. I was fine taking them

before my surgery.

I don't know if it's that or if it's just the gallbladder acting up

and causing the Iron intolerance issue, but I feel it's best to just

ask now in case it is an iron intolerance.

Any answers would be appreciated.

TIA,

Mags
