Lip reading

This may be of interest to those of you who have hearing loss. I'm starting a lip reading class through a local university. Twice a week for this semester I will meet with an audiology student one-on-one. I've wanted to learn lip reading for years; I have such an awful time in stores, etc., even with the hearing aid. I finally checked around & found this available program. My Medicare will cover the cost. It's about 60 mi. round trip, so I'll spend a bit on gas, plus the time (about 2-1/2 hr. total each trip), but I'm excited about it!

Rose, That is awesome, I would love to do that too, although I so far don't have much hearing loss, it would still be a neat thing to learn, that and sign language.I've been trying to keep up with reading the post, you are doing an awesome job on getting email thorough.

I'm afraid I'm just in a flare, I get my 2nd dose of the increased Remicade next week, and can't wait, I hope it helps, it's been a long month, I get so hot so much, I can't stand it, but I can't put cold on me, as that is painful, if some cold air hits my shoulder it really hurts until I put heat on it, then I get so hot I truly can't stand it.  I'm having trouble sleeping again.

And has anyone ever had this what I am going to describe,  because I'm not sure what to call it. It happens when I'm tired, I feel like what I see when someone is having a seizure, I feel myself shaking inside, blurred vision,, but my husband doesn't see it.  I've had dreams I'm in an earthquake, and I wake up with that shaking inside feeling.   I do get the shakes especially in my hands when I get tired, or do too much (which means vacuuming my family room, one room).

Anyway, I just wondered if anyone else gets this strange shaking feeling?  Thanks for listening. love to all, MarlaJust one day at a time, That's all God ask of us. for there never really is a tomorrow, as that too

is just today:)

Marla, I surely hope that the higher Remicade dose begins to help. And these temperature problems can be difficult to cope with. It's like the thermostat has gone haywire, only we can't call an electrician to fix it.

Have you talked to your neuro about these shaking episodes? One suggestion I have is to keep a diary, looking for any connection to diet, activities, etc.

Ya that's a good idea, I think mostly when I've been busy running around doing errands, and just get too tired, like right now I feel shaky so should just go to bed, will talk more later when your gone.
