Guest guest
Sorry to hear about you bout of pneumonia..that was rotten timing but HEY you learnt how to be a Princess & that is GOOD! I think we 're getting enough here to be now considered a Right Royal Air Family! Our Dynasty could be dubbed the 'House of Puffers'..wadyja reckon... Seriously...its interesting to hear how much better you feel OFF the Pred...keep it up girl! The feedback on your Inogen One is also good to get....I'm doing fine on my Freestyle Airsep for now but one day I'll have to get a version that allows a wider ranger of LPM.... I too really appreciate not having to pay & organise for O2 tanks for Ari Travel..let alone having to get it delivered down to the weeny little viklage where my daughter lives in Tassie when I'm visiting. It just takes all the pre-palnning hassle out of tripping about! love to you, >> Dear Air Family,> Just checking in to let you know I am doing well. I have been reading posts but just haven't had time to respond to many. First of all, I got pneumonia the week before Christmas, but it was cleared up quickly with a round of Avelox and for the most part I feel great! I am still losing weight slowly since getting off of prednisone and can't believe how different I feel "undrugged." No foggy brain, no constant tiredness, no constant hunger.> > I had a fantastic Christmas with my family and for the first time ever did no cooking, shopping, decorating or cleaning. Truthfully it is very hard to be a "princess" and sit and do nothing, but the pneumonia helped me to make myself behave lol. And the best Christmas , New Year's , Birthday present I recieved was an Inogen One! I am still on cloud nine. I have been having to curtail my traveling because I can't afford to travel and pay for oxygen and now I can get about as much as I like. It is a wonderful machine, very efficient and so quiet. I have used it for two small car trips so far ( in addition to using it for shopping and errands) and am planning to drive back to Oregon to see my grandkids in February! I feel so blessed.> > Geeta, I am so glad your surgery went well. Jack I am keeping you in my prayers for your continued recovery and am so very very glad you are doing well. Beth I am praying for your niece and that the biopsy goes well. And Miranda's and 's news is just too fanatastic for words. I pray that all of you have a very blessed and healthy new year full of friends, family and fun! And I want all of you to know how very grateful I am to be part of this loving and caring group. > > > R.
