Guest guest
hey everyone!! well today we went into the city to see dr h even though we saw her at convention because my hubby's co. is changing insurance companies so we had to get the paper work under way for his gh to be cover by oxford. well we had a good visit except she said he is starting to get skinny again and is losing his body fat!!! so she upped his periactin again (she also did it at convention) and siad we have to some how get the calories into him!! she also told us that when he goes swimming (unless the pool is heated) he gets cold very quick and easily and all that shivering and his body trying to keep its self warm is burning calories away big time, plus his being on the go 24/7!! so she suggested a wetsuit for swimming to keep him warm. we went online together to find one and she found one at this website that she liked www.outdoor-family.com it is the one with the front zipper, goes down the legs like shorts and down the arms some. the smallest size they have would be just a little big(his height is 38 " , weight 29lbs, chest 19 3/4 " ) so i emailed them because they say they make custom ones. the price isnt too bad either. she said it should be in a dark color and that he should wear an undershirt that is snug underneath it to keep in his body heat. just thought i would share the site in case anyone else was interested in getting one (i know someone at convention said that dr h mentioned it to them for their child but i dont remember who that was) so we go back in nov. and hopefully his weight will come up!!! keep your fingers crossed!!! jodie c (nicholas-7 nonrss, christopher-4 rss 29lbs 38 " periactin 6.6cc 2x daily, ght genotropin .6 (until insurance changes), ADHD and OCD possible (said it is getting better with structure and routine), assmentry (left side 1cm needs lift and PT for muscle tightness due to not fully exteending RT leg), johnathon-2 nonrss(was put in his place by Dr H today for whining, i think she is better than that super nanny!!!!)
