i had never seen heat rash befor, my son got it, little red bumps over his head. got it from sweating too much, which will happen, but will improve over a couple weeks. just wash and dry the head and the helmet frequently and dressing him cooler . Not sure but guessing he may sweat more if he has lots of hair, my son has very fine baby hair.

Does it appear on their heads? forehead? cheeks? What are some remedies for this? Also, do they get to keep their hair? My son has a lot of hair so just wondering.

My son had a bit of heat rash on his sideburns where the helmet was gripping

the side of his head. We put a little bit of hydrocortisone cream on it and

that helped get rid of it. My son also had a ton of hair when he had his

STARband and we did not have to cut it off. I did end up getting it trimmed

around the sides because it looked obnoxious hanging out the bottom of the

band.

my son had a heat rash ( we started wearing the helmet in the summer)...it was

mostly on the back of his head. the skin was red and covered with little pimple

looking bumps.we were adviced to remove the helmet until the skin healed and to

put a little hydrocortisone cream on my son's head to clear the rash faster.
