I just went through this as well -- I am still in a state of total shock! I got some great deals while in Michigan. I even shared my story with one shopowner and she gave me an additional 10 pct off! Guest guest
Thanks, . Today has been full of people doing double takes, realizing they do know me or wondering where they know me from. It takes longer and longer for me to get to my work station with so many people stopping me. When I told someone I still have an additional 80-85 lbs to go to get to my goal (160 lbs) they were flabbergasted. Most people think I'm maybe 40 lbs overweight now. It's wonderful. > > In a message dated 11/18/01 11:05:24 PM, duodenalswitch@y... > writes: > > << > I haven't been this size since about age 13. I've had grown Chinese men and women (not the most demonstrative people on the earth) exclaim how thin and 'beautiful/pretty' I am now! Holy Cow! ROFL I think you have something about the way we lose and I know it's been said before -- that the scales don't accurately reflect the inches we lost, etc. I don't remember when I was around 200 being a size 16 -- I think I was a 1x or something! I have about 30-40 more lbs to go and hope I make it! It's incredible! ENJOY! Now, I'm finally looking in the Speigel catalog (I've always admired some of their less vampy clothes -- especially the European collection)! Does anyone know what their sizes run? A little on the small side, I assume (since this has been the case with shoes I've ordered from the past). I noticed they even offered some items in larger sizes -- 1-3x. all the best, lap ds with gallbladder removal January 25, 2001 Dr. Gagner/Mt.
