Guest guest
i would not wake your child to take it off, if shes sleeping let her sleep.I might take it off if she wakes after 4 hours, or only if you are concerend that she is getting some red spots. We did the break in schedual but I have heard some people were advised to just jump right in wearing full time. I think it is just a way to help acustom the child to it gradually . le From: nrob1230 <robbins1230@...>Subject: Gradually increasing wearing time - sleep questionplagiocephaly Date: Thursday, December 31, 2009, 7:32 AM My 7 month old just started wearing the Starband (just posted the other qustion about lotion and forgot to ask another one). Regarding the 4 day period where you increase the amount of time they are in the band... on day 3 she is suppposed to wear the band every 4 hours. This is also the first day when she is supposed to wear it at night while sleeping. What is not clear to me is whether she should wear the band the WHOLE night while sleeping, or are we supposed to take it off and put it on during the night every 4 hours (as we would be doing during the day)... Thank you for your thoughts!
Guest guest
We let my daughter sleep in her STARband all night. I am not sure if that is what they intended or not but she did fine. Guest guest
I think if the baby is asleep you don't have to wake them up after 4 hours to take off the band. Guest guest
Thank you! I think that is what we are goign to do, unless she wakes up during the night. She normally sleeps through the night. > > We let my daughter sleep in her STARband all night.
