Guest guest
Jodie, I think that different children react differently to medications. Perhaps has enough fat on him now so that it won't sting? We have Oxford, too, and they tried to get Dr. H. to switch Max to Nutropin instead of Humatrope to save money. Dr. H. said NO because Max has been on Humatrope for 14+ years and was not about to fool around with another medication. They listened! I'm sure if he were younger, she would have made the switch. But from Oxford's point of view, if Max is using 10 vials a month and each vial is over $300, the cost is very high for them. Actually, I believe a 3 month shipment before he was changed to twice a day was worth about $25,000!!!! It's a good thing he has grown. Jodi Z P.S. Email me privately. I have some things to talk to you about.
