Guest guest
now that I think about it, I think my son does have this. I never thought about it like that, but sometimes when I first take the band off it does seem like the bulge side is more pronounced somehow, and I even think it look a bit bruised at times but I think I am imaginging that because it really never does look bruised, but it only looks like that immediately when I take it off, and I assume its because there is so much more pressure on that side. I don't worry since its not rubbing or staying red for long at all. le 7 mos From: Kathy Jensen <kathylorajensen@...>Subject: Forehead swellingPlagiocephaly Date: Friday, January 8, 2010, 12:35 AM Hi, has swelling in his forehead, some days worse than others. I assume it is from the helmet. His chiropractor feels it. It shows up on the scans as unexpected forehead growth/shrinkage. The swelling is worse on the right side. Often it appears like he has a plagio forehead bulge, but others days the forehead asymmetry is so mild I don't see it.There is a correlation with becoming overheated and the swelling. I thought once summer was over, the swelling would go away. However, it still comes and goes. has always tended to get overheated easily, but the helmet makes it worse.Anyone else have forehead swelling with the helmet? Any suggestions? Thanks,Kathy, mom to 19 months, 7 in Starband
Guest guest
Hi, I worry about the swelling not being good for . Also, it bothers me mentally. I think what I see is mostly swelling and temporary. However, I panic regardless that maybe everybody is wrong and it is not really swelling, but a permanent visible plagio bulge.
