INSURANCE APPEAL WON!!!

Hi All,My little Avery is the cover-girl right now on the Group website. After one appeal from my pediatrician and the second appeal from me - 150 page document, WE FINALLY WON!!!I received an email from HR Director today that said they would be sending approval for our appeal to United Healthcare tomorrow. I am so overjoyed. My appeal packet was a mixture of ones on this site and had 29 articles (that was the hard part). I hope everyone has the same blessing that I have tonight! It will be even better once the money is back in our savings account. :) The helmet has definitely made a noticeable difference in her forehead and back head. We are so thankful we didn't wait and got her in the helmet at almost five months old. Thank you to everyone's encouragement!erin

Congrats! Can you upload a copy to the files section? It would be

most helpful for those with Untied in the future. Make sure to take

out your personal info.

THANKS!!!!

Hello ,

I was wondering if by chance you can guide me as to what your procedure was in order to win your appeal. I have only appealed once to United Healthcare and I received a letter from them stating that CT would have to submit the claim in order for them to continue the appeal, however CT is out of network and I'm unsure if indeed they will submit the claim. What do you suggest or anyone who can give me some information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
