Guest guest
Oh le, I feel so bad for all your aggravation and having to deal with the people in your life who should be supporting you and instead adding to your aggravation. Guest guest
I'm sorry you are going through such a tough time. No one knows your child like you do. I know it's difficult when others don't see what is so plain and obvious to you. (been there) Is there another place you can get another opinion that would take your insurance? mom to Autumn RSS 19 mos 17.5 lbs, Summer 7 weeks 7 lbs, Ocean 3, Skye 7 Aspergers, anxiety and ocd > My husband and I took Coby to Riley Children's Hospital on Tuesday. > His appt was with the Pediatric Behavioral Center. Guest guest
Sigh - I can relate to that behavior stuff - really!!! The thing we use to get Tim's attention now that he's older is taking away toys and computer privileges. It's still hard, especially when surgeries are involved which can cause fear and anger issues... Tim didn't speak much until we had a request for a speech referral in when he was 2 and a half. His grandma kept reading him Mother Goose, and he started copying her and then took off! There are ways to negotiate discipline and talk about emotional issues when they get speech going that it's hard to do now. Perhaps lots of reading and pointing to objects and maybe some sign language lessons would help ease the frustration in the meantime...
