Guest guest
PPO generally pays better than POS....(I think) POS is point of service. I had blue cross/blue shield of Idaho and they gave me big headaches and refused us the surgery but in the end they lost.....they were our secondary so they had no choice once medicare approved it. Others on the board will be able to help you with insurance...... Judie
Guest guest
Hi Bill, I'm not sure what the correct answer is to your question, but I would question it with the insurance if it were me. What a pain in the butt to have to deal with surgery and all of this too. Hope your surgery was a success at least. a > Well, after over four and a half months and three submissions, I > managed to get the hospital portion of my surgery paid (I had to pay > up front for everything, so this waiting hasn't been pleasant). > > Two problems -- The insurance company paid the provider (i.e., the > hospital) so I'll have to deal with their bureaucracy to get > reimbursed. Guest guest
If an employee terminates the coverage either ends the date of term or the end of the month - you'd have to check the eligibility provisions with the insurance company of the Human Resources Dept. Depending on your company size and the state you live in you can continue the group coverage through COBRA but you pay the premium plus 2%. Kim __________________________________ Yahoo! Guest guest
I have never had to use insurance before this pregnancy and boy has it been fun (ha My Riley Jade (born 1-12-06 bilateral club feet) got her Markell boots and bar in March. I just found out that our insurance does not cover " Orthopedic shoes, foot orthotics, or other devices to support the feet " . What? This seems a little crazy to me because if she doesn't have the shoes and bar her feet would relapse and they would have to pay for numerous surgeries etc. (Preaching to the choir) Is this typical and does anyone else have any tips on disputing or getting insurance to pay? I had heard the 's weren't covered but didn't realize the Markells (sp) were not.
Guest guest
I had trouble getting the Markells paid for as well. I called BCBS and they told me they didn't cover it because I ordered from an non provider. So, the next time I ordered Markells they were covered 100% because we used their preferred provider..
