Guest guest
Hey switch sis, I think you bring up a great point. For those of us who lost the weight over and over again and never were able to adjust our body image, this is the final solution. It's imperative that we use this transition time to work through those body image issues before we reach our goal because our old coping mechanisms will no longer be there. We have to trust the surgery, follow our dirctives, but the mind is our obligation to heal, and the surgery will not do that! As soon as I am not walking the " crab walk " my therapist and I are going to be doing some heavy duty work together! Oh, and of course I will be leaning on all my online brothers and sisters for advice and counsel too! Hugs, Theresa 11-19 Dr. Jossart getting closer to starting weight! > > michelle, > > i never feel as big as i look in pictures. it took my family > telling me they were afraid i was going to die > > if i didn't do something about my weight. i weigh 348 and am > having surgery 12/31. belinda
