My recollection is that the alert on the GFCFDiet site at one point explained that the candy bars are made on a line that also makes non- GFCF candy (don't remember what kind), therefore risk of contamination to all candy bars. The choc chips are supposedly OK
Guest guest
We've had trouble with the Tropical Source chocolate bars, even before the alert. My kids loved them so I tried again. Same trouble. We have used the chocolate chips, however, with no problem. Cheryl ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! Guest guest
I gave a candy bar to my son before checking the gfcfdiet site. He's extremely sensitive and didn't react to the candy bar. Today he is reacting because I gave him food at the in-laws yesterday. Turkey leg meat (the turkey had been cooked with regular stuffing) and the rest of the food I gave him had nothing in it. So he's reacting to the turkey or a cross contamination, maybe both. I knew better, but wasn't given enough notice to fix him a similar meal. Guest guest
Me too. I broke down and gave him some yesterday because the ingredients LOOK ok. He is usually ultrasensitive, and the candy did not affect him at all. So he's happy and I'm happy. Thanks for your reply. in FL > > I gave a candy bar to my son before checking the gfcfdiet site.
