There are a couple of people who have gone from RNY to DS, but I can't

remember who their surgeon was. I know it is very complicated.

Some patients have the RNY pouch made by " stapling off " that part of the

stomach but not " cutting it loose " . Perhaps those are the ones who have

been able to revise to DS. From what I understand the docs now " cut the

stomach loose " and seal it off to just " float " . I can understand how with

scar tissue and such it would be very difficult to re-attach and have a

working organ.

That can't be true!! Dr. Keshishian did *2* RNY-to-DS revisions the week I

saw him...I just don't believe it's impossible to reverse.

I wouldn't give up, -- go for a second opinion. Email Dr. Welker or

Dr. Keshishian or both -- don't give up!
