Emerence - endo visit

Hi all,

Emerence had her much awaited endo visit. She has dropped from 10.3

k at the convention to 10.1 and is at 32 " . I brought my mom with me

for extra ears and the endo and I discussed gh and the recent

hosptial episode. We are benchmarking her sugars in the am (97 and

82 for the past 2 days) and will go from there. The gh was long

discussion, my mom felt she needed to quiz the endo if she would

give gh to a child if she had a daughter (she has 2 sons). She

said yes to a son but would wait until her daughter were 4 or 5.

Right now Emerence is so young it is heard to tell where she is

tracking but she feels in the 4'6 " to 4'11 " range. However, when I

look at Emerence's weight gains in the past she is not consistent

she goes up and then dips, up and then dips. Her height curveis

whacked too..

The endo listed out all the negative side effects for me and why

some of those side effects may not be as common in a child who is

otherwise healthy (like Emerence - ie she isn't taking Gh b/c of

cancer). So, we have an appt set up for the morning of my bday and

then we will make the move if I want to.

So, please, my opinion is that after all this time on the board,

very few if any have had negative side effects from teh gh correct?

And the syringe is preferred in younger kids to the pen?
