Guest guest
I'm not sure if this is the best option since we haven't tried it, but I'm thinking that SSI might help. I'm not sure how much they actually control your medical decisions once they cover your child. http://www.ssa.gov/notices/supplemental-security-income/text-child-ussi.htm Inga At 06:17 PM 9/8/2005 +0000, you wrote: >I am getting WIC for my 3 youngest and it helps a lot, I havn't asked >around for much help because I've just been kind of out of it not >able to put it all together with everything. Guest guest
Hi, I know how you feel, it can be overwhelming at times to wonder how your going to make ends meet and pay all the bills plus medcl . My son's endo and neurologist make us pay 20% up front since our deductible yearly is 1300 in network. they call insurance to verify deductible met then chrg us 20%. Deductible is always met since he gets therapy 2x a week. for pt and ot outside of school, which he only qualifies 30mins a week there. We can't get help bec husband makes too much , they don't take medical into consideration. We owe over a thousand now to er's and ped. and I pay them monthly , I finally tk a job p/t while he and sister are in school, after school care will not take him since spec needs. He is on list since he was 18mos for childcare asst. but recvd letter two months ago he is still on waiting list , number 642 when he started he was 803. My brother told me at this wait he will be in high school whn he gets it. lol I actually had a rep from hospital here tell me , didnt you know you cldn't afford it whn you tk him, advised her , that wasn't my concern whn he had 103.9 temp and had not ate in two days. I talk to her manager , which did little good. but thats Memphis for you. Sheryl anderkat3 wrote: Hi, thanks for the advice. The docs office can't waive the fees she said because of a low and the insurance companies, and that they used to and she wishes she could. I will ask her about looking at the second kid when two are sick, that's a good idea. I do the same thing with the insurnace companies adn hospital bills, I am actually having a problem with that now for one of my daughters Summer's visit, there are 4 different statments for the same visit and 3 have one price and one has something a few hundred higher! One says I have to pay some penalty, then a couple of weeks later that amount ended up being payed by them according to the new statement then a new bill came in and said I owe that penalty again but it's on a different amount, it's crazy. thanks for the ideas mom to Autumn, Summer Ocean and Skye > > Hi all, I was wondering is there any trick to paying all these > > medical bills and stuff?
