I was wondering how long until it was safe to resume the 'cuddling', esp since I had complicatins with my incisions, and I still can not sleep/lay on my stomach without pain. However, I was also wondering when the 'desire' would return. Seems as though yours has. Maybe since it has only been a little over a week since I felt like I have returned to a somewhat normal existance I need to be a little more patient. Guest guest
Theresa, You are only a few days post, so you may want to be very careful and take it slow while " cuddling " . You would have the same concerns that a pregnant woman has. Keep weight off the belly, there are many ....errr.. ways to " cuddle " that will do this. If it feels good and doesn't hurt, go for it. LOL Just remember that you are losing weight ALL over. If you use a diaphragm, it may not fit right any longer. I'm not a doctor, but I remember when these things meant a lot. Guest guest
Sherri, I was " ready " in the hospital, but then, I was on Morphine! Laughing... talk about the weirdest dreams I have ever had! Yikes. Anyway, cuddling went fine, thanks to everyone who took the time to respond. I appreciate their helpfullness. If ever there is a time for a quickie, this was it! Oh, and a pillow was critical! Hugs and hope you are feeling your old self soon!
