Guest guest
Hi All- Thanks so much for the well wishes. went through his surgery swimmingly(if that is possible)-I gotta say i love the " happy " juice- it was fun to see how much he changed within 2 minutes of drinking this concoction. He went to the operating nurse with no backwards glance-just a quick wave goodbye-she did promise him stickers. The surgery went well, and he is home now-he gets to have a mini vacation from school with grandpa so that my husband and I don't miss work. The cast goes up to his shoulder and weighs a ton!! The poor kid leans slightly to the right when he is walking around-however, the cast has not slowed him down. Every once in a while he gets frustrated over not being able to use his hand. Luckily the cast will be removed on May 30 just in time for pool season!! Thanks again for the wishes! kathleen mom to david bcf fab 12/

Guest guest
That's great news Kathleen!! So nice that he will have the cast off for the summer!!! I remember when Grace got her dose of the " happy juice " , it was like she was totally drunk. Slurring her words, it was weird she was chatting away and after she drank it she started talking slower and slower and kept saying hiiiii mooooommy over and over. I didn't like it but I guess it's important as it really calms them down for the surgery prep. Glad all went well and give that lil guy a hug from us! & Grace > > Hi All- > Thanks so much for the well wishes. went through his surgery > swimmingly(if that is possible)-I gotta say i love the " happy " juice- > it was fun to see how much he changed within 2 minutes of drinking > this concoction.
