newbie, searching for dr. in PA/MD

Hi everyone,

I'm starting to research. I have a consult scheduled in Feb.

for a lap rny but I want more d/s info. I'm 47, BMI 41,

obese my entire life with one diet after another and I'm just

really, really tired of the excess weight. Can anyone share

experiences or info on docs near me who do d/s surgery preferably

lap? I live in Central PA.

Hi ,

I live in Northeast PA and at the time I first started my search 2 years

ago, I was told that there were no doctors in PA. I went to Staten Island,

NY for Dr. Macura. Never regretted that. In fact my DH is having the DS done

on Monday, so I'll be away from the computer for at least a week.

Since I have heard that there is a Dr. s in Scranton who does the RNY

and DS. Don't know anymore about him though.

I live in Pa and I am traveling to NYC for my surgery. I HIGHLY

suggest you look towards NY or MD.
