If I shouldn't lose anymore weight and I feel I need to lose another 50

pounds, is a shrotened coomon channel in the cards. Can it be done lap and

how long is the hospital stay and recovery? Anybody have any info on this?

Dr. Hess indicates in his study that shortening the common channel a ways out

from surgery achieves an additional 20 pound weight loss at best. I think

this is why he goes with a shorter common channel in his surgeries. On the

other end, he indicates lengthening the common channel down the road achieves

the relieving of malnutrition and diarrhea problems quite nicely.

I don't know if any of the other docs address this in more recent papers?
