Guest guest
has been wonderful with helping us with the sore issues Lilee has had with her P/M's! sent us a new design. They are kinda curved like Pringles chips (funny he told me he thought of this design while eating Pringles...lol), they have a built-in loop hole for the strap, and are made of the same soft, flexable material as the shoe plastic. Lilee has been in them now for about 1 1/2 weeks. She is doing GREAT! I think the large reduced hrs that Ponseti ordered also helps. There are barely any red marks! YAY! So for those who have issues with the sores CALL JOHN and get a pair! They are really cool. They even stay on the strap well while unbuckled. I just wanted to share the good news, and anyone who can benifeit from it, get some!
Guest guest
Christee, I am so happy you have found something that works. We are 3 weeks with no sores here, but remember he was out for about 4-5 days when hubby first went in the hospital. I think my mom has the macig touch. Of course I really worry that she didn't have his heal down all the way. We are very lucky to have Dr. Ponseti and working on our sides. Guest guest
Have been thinking about you, Tabitha, and how wonderfully kind you were to me when I first posted here. I just wanted you to know that I am one of the many (I saw many had posted to you here) thinking of you and praying for you and your family. I didn't post for a bit wishing I had just the right words of encouragement. In absence of those, I will just say my heart ached at your news of your husband but I am glad you have a little break on one front that your son's sores appear to be resolved. Guest guest
Hi Christee: My daughter Maddie, currently in the P/Ms, has developed a red mark on her right foot under the middle strap of the shoes. I am taking her to see her doc this Friday. I hesitate to call it a " sore " but might be on its way.... I have not been keeping up with all of the posts, so I am wondering what kind of sores Lilee developed with the P/Ms. Maddie will soon need a new brace, so I am wondering if I should talk to about this? Is this common with the P/Ms? Kori previously e-mailed me to watch for heel counter issues, but so far, so good. Thanks, Kim Mom to Maddie, 06/16/2005 > > has been wonderful with helping us with the sore issues > Lilee has had with her P/M's! sent us a new design. Guest guest
The sores are not common. Lilee has such chubby feet is what they are thinking the issue is. The red spot and sores would were under the mid-inner side where the middle strap goes. Yes, I would contact if it persists, or you can get one now. Just call him, he is great.
