Guest guest
Can anyone comment on the following items regarding their gfcf status? I bought the applegate turkey hotdogs and it says on the label spices, which always makes me wary. I checked the gfcfdiet page and it was listed as ok. I also bought rice dream ice cream, but for some reason I remember people saying there was the possibility of cross contamination. Is that just for the milk or the ice cream as well. My son has never tried ice cream before, so I thought it would be a fun thing to try. Lastly, is coconut milk gfcf? Thanks, Phyllis K. Guest guest
Applegate hot dogs (all 3 flavors) are GFCF and also their deli meats. Here is a recent letter from them to me concerning their deli meats and lactic acid in them.: Hello : Thanks for your interest in Applegate Farms. All of our current deli meat products are gluten and casein free. The lactic acid you see listed in the ingredients of our slice pepperoni is not derived from milk or milk products, although the name sounds similar to lactose contained in milk. I hope this information is helpful. I have no webservice only free email service and I am wondering about your pepperoni slices. Are they GFCF? I see they have a lacticacid thing and am wondering about that ingredient.
