I think Dr. H. is still away. She is not supposed to be back until

next week, as I understand it. I've been trying to reach her

because of our dealings with Max and she has not even replied to my

emails. That is not usual for her.

Your doctor is correct about the PDD and ADHD. Many of our RSS kids

do have some of the characteristics, but not enough of either to

make the diagnosis stick. Some, unfortunately, do have one or the

other or both. Max, as a matter of fact, has many of the PDD

characteristics but is not diagnosed with that. His psychologist,

though, is going to see if he has enough of them to make it fit for

insurance purposes. I don't care what the diagnosis says so long as

insurance will pay. If he does have PDD, he is high functioning in

many ways.

Now if he could just get rid of these hiccups and the now more

frequent vomiting....

hey jamie!!

first off what kind of tumors are rss kids supposly prone too?!? never

heared of this!! i know there was confuse about wilms tumors but that

is because of assmentry that is caused by hemihypertrafy(sp) which rss

kids dont have (we went through that for a year before they relized

this and these tumors are in the abdomin any way but like i said our

kids dont have this kind of assmentry) dr h is still on vacation in

hawaii until oct 9th i think. call magic and ask them.

We keep you all in our prayers too. Yea I called and talked to her assistant

yesterday she said that she has never seen a RSS patient with brain tumors. We

have an apt on Nov 1 too see Dr.H but I am going to try and get in earlier, I

have too call yadria today.

Hope nmaddy is doing good.
