Guest guest
I just wanted to say Thank You for your post. My daughter has a hairy patch, and one leg is longer than the other. I always thought this was odd, but never persued it. So I am glad for your post. Scoliosis runs in my family. I myself have it. Unfortunatley it wasnt diagnosed until I was 17 by a Chiropractor. So I went through my adolecent and teen years in pain with people saying, 'oh, it's just growing pains', when in fact it wasnt! She has an appointment next Monday with her Ped. So I will let you all know how it goes. Guest guest
Christee, Just thought I would mention, I think that Lilee has enough questionable things to warrant seeing a specialist, even if your Ped tells you it is nothing. I know you've had trouble with the Ped telling you this before; I would assume that Dr. Mosca treats scoliosis (Kori or anyone else, do you know?) so probably your best bet would be to start with him. > > I just wanted to say Thank You for your post. Guest guest
My ped. Dr. always wants me to take it up with Dr. Sussman, her Ortho Dr. @ Shriner's. I spoke a little with Dr. Ponseti a while back, and he mentioned that he wanted her to see a specialist. It starts with an 'N', but I forget the name title of the Dr. Maybe Neuroligist? I asked Dr. Sussman's office to do a referral, but they refused to do so. I will try and look into and talk to our Ped. Dr. on Monday to see if he knows any good Ped. Neuroligists? Guest guest
Christee, Yes, a Neurologist. I'm sure someone can recommend one, actually I know that Dr. Dobbs' wife is one but that would mean travel for you again, and I don't know that she practices at Shriners??? Surely you can get someone to give you a referral, but personally, I would do a little research on my own to find who you think is the best in your area. > > My ped.
